Design Objective
Develop the branding and packaging for a subscription box company. Also develop the box contents, photography, digital marketing, and website.
Design Brief
The Good Book Club is a Christian-based subscription box. Each month, subscribers will receive a Christian-based fictional book as well as stickers, notebooks, and bookmarks. All of these components are branded to go along with the company’s branding.The branding efforts are aimed towards the target audience, christian women between the ages of 18-54 who have a desire to read. The Good Book Club uses a custom hand-illustrated logomark of an open book with flowers growing out of the top, which symbolizes how the customer will grow from reading the books. The typeface is also a custom hand-lettered type. The hand-illustrated logo was created using Adobe Illustrator. The branding color palette uses purples and greens to give the box a warm and natural look. The color palette and the hand-illustrated details that make up the box, creates a fun and welcoming brand. This same branding was repeated throughout the marketing and website. Additional illustrations were created to go with the branding that will also be used in other marketing efforts such as the packaging, email marketing, and social media.
